Reliability of results of work of algorithms of definition of indications of indicators

The most significant criterion of a system effectiveness of a pattern recognition is reliability of results of the recognition which value should be aimed to 100 %. However in practice usually there are restrictions which do not allow to increase volume of the measuring information without loss of productivity of system of recognition.

The finding of an optimum in the course of recognition which on the one hand provides demanded level of reliability, and with another - high efficiency therefore is of great importance.

Reliability of recognition is defined by the maximum value of a lapse of recognition at the set quantity of images. The given parametre depends on informative signs of installation and a method lapse, i.e. reliability of result of recognition is influenced by following components:

- reprezentativnost the data, showing conformity of characteristics of sample to general totality characteristics as a whole;

- Quantity of the used signs defining complexity of recognition;

- Method of recognition and its characteristic.

In dissertational work calculation of reliability of algorithms of machining of images is based on the design procedure of reliability of a pattern recognition presented in [62].

In-process [63] it is shown, that statistical reliability of recognition, or otherwise «an estimation of reliability of the qualifier (in the English-speaking literature — accuracy)», is defined by expression:

Where N  - quantity of correctly distinguished images, N2 - total of control images.

For use of the formula (3.14) in the capacity of a reliability parametre it is necessary to consider characteristics of each algorithm of machining of images of indicators. As the algorithm lapse is defined in the core by quality of initial images, a series of the tests which are switching on following stages has been spent:

1) were chosen N2изображений indicators by a size (x, x);

2) each image was processed with use of algorithm of machining of images strelochnyh, liquid crystal or light indicators;

3) it was defined quantity N1правильно of the distinguished indications of indicators, value of reliability of recognition by formula (3.14) for the indicator a size (x, x) paid off.

On outcomes of a trial table 3.2 which is representing dependences of reliability of results D (x) from sizes xизображения of the indicator for each class-room of indicator P (P1 - the pointer detector, P2 - the liquid crystal indicator, P3 - the light indicator) has been builted. In drawing 3.7 schedules of these dependences are presented.

On assay values of the table and the gained schedules, following leading-outs have been drawn:

1) value of reliability of definition of indications of pointer detector D (x) ≥ 0,95 is attained at a size of the image of the indicator x ≥ 200, thus the further increase in a size of the image does not give essential increase in reliability;

2) value of reliability of definition of indications

3) value of reliability of definition of indications of light indicator D (x) ≥ 0,95 is attained at a size of the image of the indicator x ≥ 10, thus the further increase in a size of the image essentially does not influence reliability.

Thus, have been produced demands to technical datas of the videocamera captureing the image of the panel of devices, namely, image capture (x, x) the pointer detector a size χ ≥ 200, the liquid crystal indicator a size x ≥ 100, the light indicator a size χ ≥ 10, that allows to use the developed algorithms of machining of images of indicators of the panel of devices at reliability of results d (x) ≥ 0,95.
