Floronim a camomile / hoacuc in Russian and Vietnamese languages

Camomile - a grassy plant of family slozhnotsvetnyh with tsvetkami, at which petals usually white, and the middle yellow. The field, garden river to guess on a camomile (to guess about love, pulling out one behind another petals of a flower and repeating thus: “loves?”, “does not love?”).

In the Russian-Vietnamese dictionary following definition of a word a camomile is made: the Grassy plant of family slozhnotsvetnyh with single tsvetkami, white along the edges and yellow in the middle [the Russian-Vietnamese dictionary 2005: 1253].

Russian perceive a camomile as a national symbol. The camomile often meets in Russian folklore tradition. There are the various ceremonies connected with a camomile. For example, wreaths from a camomile, a guessing on a camomile. The image of a camomile is mentioned in works of art.

In perception of an image of a camomile it is possible to be observed by foreign students the following tendency: for it it is known denotat, but konnotatsija in relation to it differs from konnotatsy, arising at Russian. Unlike Russian for which the camomile acts as a symbol of Russian culture, foreigners perceive a camomile as a wild plant which represents pharmaceutical interest in some cases.
