In detail-thematic directivity children's nauchnoyopopuljarnogo editions

In detail-thematic directivity of any edition tends to fast and cardinal changes depending on external factors of influence. The Popular scientific press already means liquidation of some groups of subjects; in detail-thematic directivity speaks preferences of the declared audience, internal both foreign policy of the country and its susceptibility to nauchnoyotehnicheskomu to progress.

Creation and actualisation of scientific knowledge in priority directions of development of a science, technics and state economy is one of actual problems of a government program of formation and development of a national information infrastructure.

Popular scientific editions, reflecting a country mental potential, allow to carry out the analysis of achievements of a science. And comparative
The characteristic of a ratio that of publications in magazines is reflexion of a social life of a society of the different countries.

For the analysis of in detail-thematic structure popular scientific polythematic magazines of America (“Odyssey”, “Click”, “Ask”), Canada (“OWL”, “Chicka DEE”, “Real”) and Russia («Galileo have been studied in the lead on circulation in the segment. A science», "Pin-code", «the Young erudite»). Monothematic editions will not be used for detailed studying because of primary orientation to concrete scientific area. Besides, editions position the given editions as the tool of demonstration of achievements of a science and education of children.

That outputs were proved, analytical processing of an input stream of the materials published in more than 150 numbers of children's popular scientific editions which was carried out on the basis of gathering, processings was required, to ordering and referirovanija results.

In each number of the certain edition the themes presented in different proportions have been revealed some. In dissertational research such concept as «theme weight» is used. A theme as this or that formal structure, is defined by calculation of rate and use in common of keywords in the popular scientific text. Calculation of a share of the text collection devoted to a certain theme, has been made by two methods:

1. Comparison of relative weight of a theme by calculation of a share of a theme in each text, divided into total of texts. Each text is divided between some themes in different proportions, accordingly correctly to speak not about quantity of posts on a certain theme, and about shares of the given theme in the edition.

2. Normalisation on length of the text and quantity of words of a material allows to consider that fact, that article is communicative unit and
Allows to reveal in detail-thematic directivity, disregarding the factor of the vast text.

Accordingly, «the theme weight» will pay off according to the algorithms resulted above that will allow to reveal in investigated popular scientific magazines for children of the different countries priority thematic directivity.

The description of system of subjects of publications in children's popular scientific magazines will be based on the basic headings of the state subject authority of the scientific and technical information (Subject authority GRNTI) which represents universal hierarchical classification of areas of the knowledge, accepted for ordering of all stream nauchnoyotehnicheskoj information.

Naturally, we will not result all list of the state subject authority in the given dissertational research, and we will be limited only to the basic sciences which are resulted more low according to individual standard serial numbers.

For revealing of the thematic directivity peculiar to the Russian children's popular scientific editions, magazines «Galileo have been chosen. The science» - which is published since 2011, circulation 280000 copies, leaves once in two weeks and "Pin-code" - the children's magazine published since 2012 with periodicity once a month and «Young Erudite», started to leave in 2002 and intended for children from 10 till 14 years is focused on children from 10 till 14 years.

The received results are displayed in the table № 1. Being based on these data, it is possible to define with high degree of accuracy strongly pronounced thematic directivity of materials in domestic children's popular scientific editions on natural and to the exact sciences. It is noticed, that prevalence of materials of the given group occurs for the account bolshego quantities of publications on a theme of "Physicist" (26,72 %) and on a theme "Biology" (20,82 %). It is possible to consider the received result objective as it is ensured by publications not in one concrete magazine, and total quantity of publications in each of the resulted editions.

The big share of weight has been revealed in themes of "Mathematician" (4,85 %), "Transport" (3,77 %), "Military science" (5,03 %), and also «Patent business and invention» (6,51 %). Results on group that "Social studies" allow to define the given group as the least demanded among the Russian popular scientific children's editions (7,89 %). It is necessary to specify, that the quantity of publications specified in percentage "History" and "Culture" ensure weight with that. Such themes as "Philosophy", "Economy", «the State and the right», "Policy", "Psychology", "Literature", "Art", "Computer science", «Religion and atheism» remain not mentioned in materials of the editions chosen for the analysis or their weight is insignificant. A question at issue there is an absence of publications on a theme
"Computer science" as the given theme actively reveals in the Russian monothematic popular scientific editions such as, for example, «Horizons of technics for children», «Computer science at school», "Fiksiki", «Magic of the personal computer», "Computer science" and in many other things. It is possible to name the probable reason insufficient popularity of texts where it is told about methods of gathering, storages, processings, the analysis, an estimation and an information transfer in a kind of its complexity or merge by what can occur as a result of application by the author of keywords of other lexical sets, for example, "Cybernetics", "Invention" or «Electronics. A radio engineering».

It is necessary to mention absence of materials on themes: «Polygraphy. fotokinotehnika», «Building. Architecture», «Rural and a forestry», «Physical training and sports».

For objectivity of the carried out research, it is necessary to consider that fact, that the weight of a theme "Military science" (15,10 %) which is a part of group «Technical and applied sciences» is ensured with exclusively children's popular scientific edition «Young Erudite» and does not find reflexion in other magazines. Accordingly creation of publications on the given theme can be dictated desire of edition or other accompanying reasons, that, basically, does not influence outputs which can be made, proceeding from the given analysis.

For revealing of the thematic directivity peculiar to the American children's popular scientific editions, for the analysis have been chosen magazine "Odyssey" which is intended for children with 9 till 14 years and is issued nine times a year, “Click” - the edition for readers with 3 till 6 years and “Ask” for an audience with 6 till 9 years. Chronological frameworks since January 2014 till January 2015 are chosen. The received results are displayed in the table № 2. Also at once considerable overweight of the materials entering into group «Natural and the exact sciences» (52,72 %) becomes swept up. However the similar figure is ensured with themes: « Biology »(25,49 %) and Geology of" 17,13 % ». The theme of"Physicist", almost on a level with a theme"Astronomy"occupies about 3 % from total of published materials. The group of social studies also does not use the big popularity among the American publishers, but it is necessary to note small overweight which can be observed in comparison with the Russian editions, expressed in 9 % from total of materials. Overweight is reached at the expense of publications on a theme« Art "," History "and" Culture ».

Themes "Philosophy", "Economy", "Policy", "Psychology", "Computer science", «Religion. Atheism», entering into group "Social study" reflexions do not find in materials American nauchnoyopopuljarnyh children's editions.

Most menshoe the quantity of publications is observed in group «Technical and applied sciences» (10,43 %). Magazine "Ask" which under the edition statement is politematichnym and directed on development of knowledge on different branches of a science - unique of all investigated American magazines does not publish materials of group that «Technical and applied sciences».

The group that «Interbranch problems» full enough reveals in publications of the American popular scientific children's magazines. It is interesting to notice, that the theme «Space researches» in America full enough reveals (15,92 %), unlike similar 141

The Russian theme which occupies only 2,58 % from total, despite the scale program of space researches spent by Federal space agency. There are no publications on themes: «Polygraphy. fotokinotehnika», "Cybernetics", «Building. Architecture», «Rural and a forestry», "Transport" and "Military science", «Patent business. Invention» or their weight is insignificant.

For revealing of the thematic directivity peculiar to the Canadian children's popular scientific editions, following editions have been chosen: “OWL” for children with 9 to 13, “REAL”, focused on an audience from 8 till 13 years and “Chicks DEE” for children from 6 till 9 years. Chronological frameworks since January 2014 till January 2015 are chosen. The received results are displayed in the table № 3.

In the Canadian children's popular scientific editions prevalence of materials natural also is observed and the exact sciences, however this quantitative difference is not expressed so accurately as in the American or Russian editions and occupies only 43,60 % from all weight of published texts. Also it is interesting, that the big file in this group is saved up in connection with the publication of materials on themes: "Biology" (29,27 %) and "Geology" (7,67 %) as well as in a case with the American editions. On popularity the group «Technical and applied sciences», taking in Russia the third place, and in America - the last became following. This priority the Physical training and sports »(will reach by strong prevalence of materials on a theme« 24,10 %). The similar thematic share in Russia is occupied with "Physics", and in America "Biology". "Social studies" in Canada occupy 4,90 % from total of published materials that is the lowest index among the investigated countries.

According to the resulted data, Canada gives a lot of attention to environment problems, as the general share of texts of a theme «Preservation of the environment. The ecology of the person» in children's popular scientific editions makes 11,80 %.

According to the analysis of some children's popular scientific editions of the countries of Russia, the USA and Canada for revealing of relative weight of a theme it has been noted:

Priority direction Russian politematichnyh nauchnoyopopuljarnyh children's magazines are «Natural and the exact sciences» (66,5 %). By quantity of published materials on the given theme in children's popular scientific editions Russia considerably advances the USA and Canada - on 13,78 % and 22,9 % accordingly. The similar increase occurs at the expense of prevalence of materials on a theme of "Physicist" which occupies 26,72 % from total of publications. The theme of "Mathematician" and "Cybernetics" also is shined with the Russian editions in bolshej degrees, than magazines of the USA (on 2,95 %) and Canada (on 6,93 %). Huge overweight in the Russian editions has weight of a theme "Chemistry" - 5,2 % in the ratio with weight of the given theme in editions of the USA (0,98 %) and Canada (0 %).

The theme weight «Patent business and invention» makes in the Russian children's popular scientific magazines of 6,5 % while in America the given theme occupies mene 0,1 %, and in Canada of 0,5 % from gross weight that of children's editions.

Priority direction American politematichnyh nauchnoyopopuljarnyh children's magazines are «Natural and the exact sciences» (52,72 %). It is interesting, that prevalence of materials of the given group is carried out by weight by that "Biology" (24,16 %) and "Geology" (17,13 %). According to results of the analysis, "Biology" is a priority theme of popular scientific children's buildings of the USA. The big attention the American magazines also give to group to those «Interbranch problems» (19,90 %), in which priority theme is «Space researches» with weight in 15,92 %, that more than in the Russian editions on 13,34 %, and more than in Canadian on 9,12 %.

Priority direction Canadian politematichnyh nauchnoyopopuljarnyh children's magazines also are «Natural and exact 146

Sciences », but with the most smaller index in (43,60 %). A priority as well as in a case with the American editions"Biology"(29,2 %) and"Geology"(7,6 %) is reached at the expense of considerable weight by that.

Special attention in the given group is given to a theme "Geography" (3,23 %) that is the highest index of weight of the given theme in comparison with Russia and the USA. The data received by the analysis of materials about their conformity to group «Technical and applied sciences» in children's popular scientific magazines of Canada, considerably advance data of editions of Russia (on 17,85 %) and the USA (21,97 %). The advancing is caused by considerable weight of a theme «Physical training and sports», the themes, 6,32 %, and Russia less give to which USA than 1 % from total of materials. Also as well as a theme «Preservation of the environment. Ecology of the person» where data of the Canadian children's popular scientific magazines make 11,8 %, Russian - 1,96 %, and American - 3,9 %. Themes «Building and architecture» (0,5 %), and also «Rural and the forestry (4,03 %) is shined exclusively Canadian children's nauchnoyopopuljarnymi with editions.

According to the received data, the group that "Social studies" is insufficiently shined with nurseries popular scientific

Polythematic editions. In the Canadian and Russian magazines, themes of the given group occupy 4,90 % and 7,89 %, accordingly. The theme "History" - Russia (3,13 %), the USA (4,65 %), Canada (2,03) becomes a priority theme of the given group.

Results of the carried out research allow to speak about group «Natural and the exact sciences» as about priority group of thematic directivity of children's popular scientific magazines. Themes "Philosophy", "Economy", "Policy", "Psychology", «Religion and atheism», "Computer science", «Polygraphy, fotokinotehnika» are absent in children's popular scientific polythematic editions of the countries of Russia, the USA and Canada, or their weight is insignificant.
