Conclusions under chapter 2

In the second chapter functions of monitoring of communications, universal for different types of a discourse have been allocated, forms of its realisation are considered, defined and characterised the subject and object of monitoring, monitoring principal views as communicative process are systematised.

As a result of the carried out research following conclusions have been drawn.

1. Communications monitoring possesses a set of functions among which the general are allocated and private. The general functions (organizujushchaja, diagnostic, focusing and predicting) are inherent in monitoring process at all stages of its realisation. Private functions (reguljativnaja, incentive, correcting, supervising, function of smoothing of conflicts and reflexion function) are realised at certain stages of monitoring and depend on a concrete communicative situation.

2. Communications monitoring is carried out in two forms: automonitoring (the control of own communicative behaviour) and heteromonitoring (the control which is carried out in relation to other participant interaktsii). Automonitoring is carried out to, in time and after interaktsii and includes judgement, logic construction and comprehension of the communicative actions. Heteromonitoring mainly occurs during time interaktsii, depends on the status kommunikantov and is realised in horizontal or in a vertical direction. Automonitoring and heteromonitoring are estimated on following parametres: 1) self-disclosing borders (quantity and quality of the information informed on); 2) normativnost communicative behaviour in certain community; 3) display of emotions in a conflict situation.

3. The subject of monitoring will organise communicative process, is its leader, possesses the big powers in comparison with other participants of dialogue: the right of opening of a communicative exchange; appointments speaking or vote deprivations; regulations of communicative process; protection, change and theme end; closings of a communicative exchange. The subject of monitoring is defined by power symbols which artefacts and a place of the subject of monitoring in communicative space concern.

4. Object of monitoring is complete communicative

The situation including following variables: 1) participants

Communications; 2) communications context; 3) parametres of the maintenance of the information. Effective monitoring provides their account for the purpose of dialogue optimisation.

5. It is obviously possible to allocate following kinds of monitoring: under the representation form - verbal vs.невербальный; on a way of existence of language - oral vs.письменный; on degree of expressiveness of the information - implitsitnyj vs.эксплицитный; on realisation time - precautionary (premonitoring) vs.текущий vs. Delayed (postmonitoring); on presence/absence of the intermediary - direct vs.опосредованный; as participation of the subject - obvious vs.скрытый.
