Questions of the organisation of an experimental research

As a hypothesis of the first stage of our research we put forward the assumption that value of English-speaking loan is formed in the course of perception under the influence of a context or a situation of the use of loan with a support on personal experience.

It is important to notice, that here we mean a language context, that is a language environment of English-speaking loan in separately taken offer. We believe, that various ways of identification of English-speaking loans and various variants of interpretation of values of the same loans as personal experience of the person is only its property are possible and cannot be identical to everything, therefore the contextual environment of a lexeme can cause in consciousness of native speakers different images.

As a method of carrying out of an experimental research the technique of subjective definitions has been chosen. We consider, that the given technique allows to reveal real representation about the phenomena named English-speaking words at native speakers and to track changes in values of English-speaking loans.

As fairly notices A.V.Girnyk, subjective definirovanie demands the big conscious efforts [Girnyk 2011: 165]. On the one hand, the participant of experiment aspires to make the most exact definition of value of this or that word. On the other hand, this definition should be as much as possible clear and laconic as as writes J.V.Fedurko, in the course of subjective definirovanija an informant tries to explain a word meaning not only for itself, but also for another [Fedurko 2008]. Therefore procedure definirovanija demands concentration on the major characteristics of the interpreted phenomenon. Process definirovanija is some kind of intellectual creativity as in reaction of each participant its own knowledge is traced, experiences, estimations and representations.

Under a definition understand ...slovesnoe expression of those specific features which distinguish the given concept from adjacent with it, transfer of essential signs definiruemogo a subject, the phenomenon which reprezentirujut concept [Superansky 1989: 162].

During carrying out of experiment it was offered to participants to carry out two tasks: to describe values of English-speaking loans and to pick up the native language word which value is synonymous to value of an English-speaking word. The experimental research was spent with two groups of informants, carriers of Russian and Bulgarian languages. In the second task of the questionnaire it is specified, that the word or a word-combination should be given on the native language, on what marks specify: Russian word, from your native language. In the first task we did not limit informants in a language choice.

In each offer one or two words which are English-speaking loans are allocated. Under each offer specify:

) values of the allocated words (as you understand them);

) you can offer what word (word-combination) of Russian as replacement English-speaking .

the Questionnaire for carriers of the Bulgarian language has been formulated in English:

Below you can see 13 sentences. Each sentence includes one or two words in bold type. There are two tasks after each sentence.

In task a) write the meaning of the word (what you think this word means).

In task b) write a word or a word group from your native language that can replace this word (try to find a synonym for the word in bold type) .

About problems and results of the second task we wrote in Chapter 1 paragraph 1.4, therefore in the given chapter our attention will be concentrated to the analysis of the data received in the first task of experiment.
