the factors influencing use of metaphors about transfer

To understand, why translators use certain metaphors about transfer, it is important to consider the factors influencing use of these metaphors. In the work devoted to metaphors about transfer of Renaissance, A.Koldiron asserts, that the metaphorical judgement of transfer reflects essential cultural tendencies: «the images connected with clothes, prevail during an epoch shchegolstva and laws on luxury [...] Images of opening - during an epoch of travel to New Light, comparisons with citizenship change - during an immigration epoch »[Coldiron 2011: 115 - 116]. According to Z.Kyovechesha,« depending on the concrete inhabitancy, native speakers living in it will be adjusted (basically subconsciously) on subjects and the phenomena, characteristic for this environment, and they will use these subjects and the phenomena for metaphorical judgement and creation of the conceptual world »[Kovecses 2010: 219 - 220]. We can develop think of A.Koldiron and Z.Kyovechesha. Metaphors about transfer differ during the different periods, in different cultures and individual concepts of transfer as use of metaphors is influenced some by interconnected"worlds"(about popperianskoj to a metaphor of the worlds see [Popper 1972: 106]).

The first world is an objective world (subjects, events, a way of life, mentioned by A.Koldiron and Z.Kyovecheshem). The conceptual world of the translator finding reflexion to metaphors about transfer, includes its sights at transfer, and also its conceptual system (especially the language concept), beliefs, values etc. The conceptual world is closely connected with the linguistic world: various values of a Latin word translatio (for example, «resettlement of souls», «replacing of plants» etc.) have affected metaphorical judgement of transfer. Fourthly, the translator can borrow metaphors from the text world (the text which it translates, or other metatexts, for example, the forewords written by other translators) or to develop these metaphors, that leads them intertekstualnosti. At last, metaphors about transfer exist in the world pragmatists: they definite purposes of the translator.

Translators use metaphors, creating idealizirovannyj an image of own trade, in view of unattractiveness of an existing image [Sela - Sheffy 2008: 610], eulogising the colleagues or as standard formulas of forewords.

Researchers have paid special attention to several of these factors, for example, to interrelation between metaphorical judgement of language and metaphorical judgement of transfer, and also to influence of cultural values and ideology of the translator on metaphors about transfer. Influence of these factors also was studied in diahronicheskom aspect: as evolution of metaphors about transfer.
