Influence of conflicts on military men and military collective

In a modern science the conflict is understood differently. It consider as the contradiction, as a stage of development of the contradiction, as collision, counteraction, as type of competitive interaction.
In a general plan the conflict can be defined as the sharpest way of the permission of the significant contradictions arising in social interaction of people.

The cores pr iznakami the conflict are:

- Contradiction presence between people (if between them there is no contradiction, but its presence is subjective one or two opponents it is perceived as real such conflict is called as false);

- The mutual counteraction directed on protection of the interests, blocking of actions of another, drawing to it of a damage;

- Uncooperative altitude formation to each other in the form of display of negative emotions and deterioration of the opinion on the opponent as persons.

Conflicts can be intrapersonal, interpersonal, intergroup and interstate. In military collectives most often there are interpersonal conflicts, is more rare - intergroup. Besides, conflicts are subdivided on short-term and long, constructive and destructive, on a vertical, (between chiefs and subordinates), across, i.e. between equal on a post and a military rank, and others. Researches of military psychologists show, that in the division numbering 50-70 military men, daily occurs to 10 conflicts. They arise for the various reasons and proceed differently: from them more than 38 % - short-term, about 40 % proceed about several weeks. Every fifth conflict can last with different intensity within a month and more (1; 14) *.

The most frequent in military collectives are conflicts between chiefs and subordinates - on them it is necessary to 75 % of all interpersonal conflicts. Their objects: quality of military activity (38 % from the general number of conflicts), a certain role in collective (23 %), honour and advantage of the military man (15 %), a fair estimation of results of activity (7,4 %), introduction of innovations in division (5,2 %).

Usually the conflict consider as the negative socially-psychological phenomenon negatively influencing both on clashing, and on collective as a whole. Actually influence of the conflict on opponents and collective not so unequivocally. At studying more than 1500 conflicts in parts of various kinds of Armed forces have been established, that practically each conflict bears in itself both constructive, and destructive functions (1; 6; 14).

During the conflict most considerably and more often mutual relations between them worsen mood of opponents, and also. In a considerable part of conflicts quality of office activity of military men - more often subordinates worsens and is more rare at chiefs.

It is unsuccessful developing conflicts can be accompanied by psychological and physical violence, so - travmirovaniem military men. So, application of physical violence in conflicts between military men on an appeal is rather frequent phenomenon - from 27 % (12) to 50 % (14) conflict situations. The researches spent in the youth environment, show, that the violence over the person is the ordinary phenomenon in our society. 69 %

The interrogated teenagers notice, that they were witnesses of humiliation of human advantage, to them constantly or in some cases measures of physical influence from parents, relatives, teachers were applied. As a whole 59 % of teenagers participated in group conflicts to representatives of other settlements or areas (7). Leading motive of application of physical violence military men on an appeal is the aspiration to self-affirmation, a gain of authority on microgroup or in collective as a whole.

After conflict end, especially after the constructive permission, efficiency of office activity of military men raises. However relations between them still considerable time remain strained and difficult.
