Now the automated control systems are created for operative, flexible and competent management of the enterprises, firms and the organisations of various patterns of ownership; mass media (electronic and printing); telecommunication means as civil, and military-oriented; Radar-tracking, radio navigating, information, ecological, space-rocket systems both land, and onboard appointment etc.

Kernel of modern information system are hranimye in it data.
At any enterprise including high school, data of various departments, as a rule, are crossed, that is are used in several divisions or in general are the general. For example, for management the information on all enterprise or the organisation is often necessary, drawing up of curricula is impossible without the information on faculties, chairs and specialities data, etc. Stored in information system should be easily accessible in that kind in what they are necessary for concrete activity of the enterprise. Thus has no essential value a way of a data storage. Today at the enterprise we can meet system of data processing of traditional type in which the employee manually places data in a folder, and near to it - modern system with application of the high-speed computer, the most complicated equipment and the software. Despite amazing neshozhest, both these systems are obliged to give a trustworthy information during the certain time, to the certain person, in a certain place and with the limited expenses of time.

The considered program complex, is developed for the purpose of simplification of routine work of a teaching department of military chair. Automation of planning of all educational process is provided, beginning from drawing up and editing of curricula of groups and finishing drawing up of the schedule of groups, audiences and teachers.

The program complex consists of four independent programs: "Curriculum", «Calculation of the academic commissions», «Distribution of loadings of teachers», "Schedule". These programs solve specific targets which we will consider more low, but work with the general databank including the necessary information on educational process. This information includes:

- Data on high school faculties (the full name, an abbreviation);

- Data on the chairs fixed to faculties (the full name, an abbreviation, faculty);

- Data on the specialities fixed to faculties and chairs (the full name of a speciality, an abbreviation, a speciality code, faculty to which the speciality is attributed);

- Data on groups of the students trained on each speciality (a speciality, year of a set, a group code, quantity of students);

- Data on the disciplines read on military chair (the full name, an abbreviation, type);

- Data on the teachers working on military chair (unique organic number, FIO, a rank, a post, planned norm of loading);

- Data on audiences (the name, an arrangement, type, capacity). During research on creation of a program complex it is necessary for us to solve two interconnected problems:

1. Designing of structure of the DB used by all complex. This process consists of three stages.

At the first stage performance of following works was planned:

- Studying and the detailed description of a subject domain;

- Revealing of categories of the information which are subject to the account, and definition of necessary attributes and communications between them, providing integrity and consistency of a DB;

- Allocation of horizontal and vertical communications between categories of data, distribution of streams of the interconnected diverse information.

At the second stage on the received basis the subject domain description (data sets, their types, lengths, communications, etc. is created generalised, not adhered to any personal COMPUTERS and control systems of databases (subd).), named conceptual model.

At the third stage it is necessary to choose subd under which management the database should function, and create its physical model.

2.
A writing of the program "Curriculum" which is intended for gathering, accumulation and a preprocessing of the primary information on educational process.

On an exit the DB consisting of two tables turns out: the heading storing the office information on each curriculum (group, a course, numbers of semestre, quantity of weeks and hours in each semestre) and the list of the disciplines connected with headings. This information is used independently and transferred as a variable (operative) for the further processing in other programs. As already it has been told above, the program complex also includes other programs. We will result their short characteristic.

The program «Calculation of the academic commissions», which on the basis of the data received from the previous program "Curriculum" (the list of faculties, chairs, specialities, groups, disciplines and the curriculum with instructions of school hours in a week and presence of course works, projects, examinations and offsets), and the list of formulas makes calculations of the academic commissions on each chair. On an exit we receive the list of all disciplines with instructions of hours lecture, laboratory, practical, etc. employment in each semestre in the general base, and also separate base of disciplines for each chair.

The program «Distribution of loadings of teachers» serves for distribution of loadings between teachers in military chair. It contains the list of all teachers of military chair, and also help data. The purpose of this program is distribution of the academic commissions of military chair, fastening to each discipline of the concrete teacher. If lectures are read by one teacher, and laboratory works or a practical training are conducted by another record with this discipline is split by quantity of teachers.

The program "Schedule" is the final stage of work of all program complex and urged to facilitate the most labour-consuming and necessary work of a teaching department - schedule drawing up. In the given program the automated drawing up of the schedule with possibility of the task of criterion of an optimality (for example, reduction of transitions of students between steams) is provided.
