The model of personal and professionally important qualities of the ideal school teacher assumes set of priority qualities of the teacher. Under invariant characteristics we will consider priority qualities of the ideal school teacher which differ the stability, integrity, by an orientation on preservation of traditions, as a rule, are not subject to changes, keep the urgency. Variativnym flexibility, an innovative orientation, dynamics, differentsirovannost are peculiar to qualitative characteristics of the ideal school teacher.

Let's consider two criteria without which it is impossible to construct model of the ideal school teacher. The first criterion is a formation of ideal, noble personal qualities of the teacher necessary for a humanisation of school education and education of pupils. The second criterion is connected with formation of the major professional skills allowing the teacher to become by the expert, pervoklassno to know the subject, to love the trade. Professionally important qualities of the teacher necessarily include also knowledge of a technique of teaching.

It is necessary to specify, that many personal qualities of the teacher are perceived by different researchers as professional, and also professionally significant and obligatory for each teacher. Thus many personal qualities appear in the list professional kompetentsy. Personal qualities, and also professional characteristics analyzed more low we will consider at first in alphabetic order, and further we will analyse them in diahronii pedagogical thought of the USA.
