2.1.2. Porous films of PE, software, PS

Porous films of PE have been received from linear polyethylene of high density with Mw = 2.5? 105, Mw∕Mn = 4-5 and melting point Tpl = 132°С.

Process of manufacturing of porous films includes a number

Consecutive stages: melt extrusion through a slot-hole spinneret at 200°С, an uniaxial stretching at ambient temperature (a stage poroobrazovanija), annealing at 130°С and thermofixation of the generated cellular structure by ageing at elevated temperature [24,172]. For the purpose of pore size increase the porous films received in the course of a cold drawing (PE-1) subjected to an additional extract at elevated temperature (hot drawing). In work porous films of PE-1, and also a film received by one (PE-2) and two (PE-3) were investigated by consecutive hot drawing at temperature 110°С. As comparative samples the monolithic films of PE received by melt extrusion through a spinneret have been used.

The general porosity of samples () measured by a gravimetric method and counted under the formula [172]:

Where r - density of the monolithic sample of PE of high density which made 950 kg/m3, rp - the density of a porous film defined by weighing. Investigated porous PE of a film had characteristics specified in tab. 2.2.

Distributions on the sizes of through channels have been measured by a method filtration porometrii and calculated on parity Puazejlja [173]. Porous films of software have been in a similar way prepared also.

Porous films PS on a substrate from 1П1 prepared on the technology described in works [45-47]. Ready samples have been given The College of Judea and Samaria, The Research Institute, Ariel, Israel.
