1.1 Structure of images of political leaders-candidates in presidents

Beginning the analysis of theoretical approaches to a problem of perception of political leaders, first of all it is necessary to define the basic concepts which are in focus of attention of given research.

First of all speech here goes about concepts of the political leader, political perception and an image.

In the scientific literature there is a set of definitions of political leadership. The object of the political perception considered in given work, the political leader, was understood as the person, having by the recognised authority, possessing the greatest influence in this or that political group, and also playing the central role in interaction of the given group with

The political perception has been defined as reflexion process in mass and individual consciousness of such political objects as leaders, the power, parties, the state, etc. By consideration of political perception as the perception version социального2 (the term «social pertseptsii» is entered Brunerom) should allocate a number of its specific features, such as: character of an orientation on semantic and estimated interpretations of a political reality; high unity kognitivnyh and emotional components pertseptsii; mediated (mainly through mass-media) character, dominance submissiveness of values, stereotypes, installations mass сознания3. The political perception (unlike perception social) is caused, according to modern political psychologists, nearby of the theoretical and methodological problems connected with impossibility of carrying over of psychological forms and mechanisms on a political reality, structural specificity of separate perceived political objects and the account of influence of a national context.

Feature of political perception is reflected in many respects in the major element of the given process – an image. The image is represented as the generalised picture of the world (the phenomena, subjects), the information formed at processing which arrives through sense organs. At a science there are some approaches to concept of an image. First of all it is necessary to define specificity of the politological categories claimed today "image" and "image". Here prevails two research tendencies: obektivistskaja and subjectivistic. The first

The tendency is presented by "the reflexion theory» and in a domestic science originates from a Marxist paradigm (A.N.Leonteva's school). According to the given approach, concepts "image" and

"Image" are accurately articulated on the basis of that the psychological image represents itself natural reflexion of the objective validity, and image it is artificial it is simulated.

The second tendency, konstruktivistskaja (A.Shults, P.Berger, T.Lukman, P.Burde) leans against idea, that a mental image as "fact" of political consciousness represents itself konstrukt thinking and show interchangeable concepts, being is artificial. Within the limits of our research the given categories are not identical. To a category "image" we will carry designed meaningly and purposefully impression, and to an image - impressions formed spontaneously.

The analysis of the modern literature shows, that within the limits of political psychology researches of perception of an image of the political leader are carried out serious theoretical and empirical. To become significant definition of the most widespread politiko - psychological approaches to research of images of political leaders.

Studying of features of political perception is characterised by occurrence of some new tendencies which find expression, first of all, in deleting of sharp borders between separate directions of researches, in their interosculation and interference. The considerable attention is given to system studying kognitivnyh the human structures, defining process of perception and knowledge the person of the world and its existence in нем1.

Different political systems and cultures it is spent not so much, however, and existing allow to say about a uniform set of allocated lines that assumes necessity and possibility of development of the universal scheme of the analysis of an image of political leaders. The western researchers since 80th years a direction consideration of mechanisms pertseptivnyh processes in laboratory conditions with attraction of the methods borrowed from nejrobiologii, clinical psychology is actively developed. Research of an image of political leaders in the conditions of a selective situation the American and European researchers, as a rule, is subordinated to a problem of consideration of a question of electoral appeal of candidates. The basic accent in similar researches becomes on communicative aspect of political perception and potential imidzhevyh strategy of political leaders. Thus it is necessary to mention and existence of a considerable layer of the researches devoted to political leaders, mentioning studying of the personal

Component of concrete politicians, their behavioural models within the limits of the international relations and internal policy, specificity of interrelation of personal features and character of carried out political leadership.

Now the most part of political researches of the USA in the field of political perception of the leader is concentrated to consideration of images in mass consciousness from the point of view of two structural components, making considerable impact on an estimation of the candidate, namely: competence, and integrity (kongruentnosti) образа1. Perceptions there is an integration of new characteristics of object by consciousness into already generated image so that its integrity has not been broken. Depending on it effects of the perception in detail considered in psychology of dialogue and interpersonal interaction are formed a different sort.

Konstantnost conceptual psychological structure of a political image, defines a choice as the most fruitful approach to research of a problem of political perception – allocation of fundamental measurements of structure of an image of the political leader. We will consider a little the most significant for the given research of author's concepts.

First, according to the theoretical approach of a group of authors under the guidance of E.V.Egorovoj-Gantman, the image represents itself an image-knowledge, an image-value, an image potrebnoe будущее1. Images of the power, parties, the organisations, the countries and leaders are subject to influence of the information on the political life, arriving to the individual and specific image refracted through three allocated konstrukta. The image of the political leader, according to the given position, is certain by three basic components: personal, social and symbolical характеристиками2. To the personal carry physical (a floor, appearance, age), psychological (personal lines of the politician, its manner to speak, character), political, business and professional qualities (organising abilities, ideological orientations and political views, lidersky potential). As social characteristics it is understood: The status of the leader (defined by an official position, an accessory to social group, a financial position), an origin and the biography, character of interaction with social groups (in particular

Researchers mark the tendency of strengthening of symbolical characteristics of an image of the politician, in the history turning-points, differing growth of public inquiry about uniting symbols when the leader is capable to personify sphere of fears and надежд3. Throughout the given research approach (specific to us unity of concepts of an image and image), it is necessary to mention and M.D.Zamskoj's position, excellent allocation in an image of the political leader imidzhevogo and the substantial block. Secondly, if to start with a position, that the structure of an image of the politician in consciousness of the voter, is similar to its personal structure, and means a projection of dynamic interaction of physiological, emotional, intellectual and other conditions of the person significant there is an allocation in attitjude three elements: kognitivnogo, affective and konativnogo (behavioural). Accordingly the points of view of psychological structure of the perceiving subject it makes sense to allocate three basic components of an image of the politician: kognitivnyj (for example, a cognizance of the politician), affective (liking or an antipathy) and behavioural

Component (readiness to support it on elections) 1.

Thirdly, at C.Osguda's concept, the image of the political leader can be considered according to three measurements: attraktivnosti (appeal), force and activity. The offered method is based on the phenomenon sinestezii – thinking by analogy at which one sensual perceptions arise under the influence of others. In the given research the presented three estimated criteria have been recognised the most significant for formation of semantic space of the person. Indicators of appeal of the political leader in this case included: External (physical appeal, a behaviour manner, clothes), corporal characteristics (illness-health, age, completeness-leanness, bad habits, the constitution, temperament, maskulinnost-feminnost), psychological features (the speech features, separate psychological lines, character), morally-ethical estimations of the politician, professional, business and political qualities (political views, liderskie qualities, experience, skills, competence). Presence of parametres of force and activity, undoubtedly, strengthens appeal of a political image. Consideration of a combination of indicators of appeal of force and activity, allows most productively rassmatret specificity of electoral appeal of the politician (by elimination of many undoubtedly attractive, but unessential or effective qualities).

Fourthly, N.T.Shelekasova adheres to the approach to structure of a political image, as to the two-level system presented superficial (changeable) and deep (steady) уровнем2. Both levels can include both realised, and not realised components. Therefore here the assumption about многомерной3 and enough to dynamical structure of an image of the political leader (the given statement will be fair and in relation to perception of the separate individual, and in relation to mass perception) 4 is quite defensible. In superficial level of structure of a political image are included realised partially or

Completely attributed to the leader, political and economic achievements, installations, values, stereotypes, the electoral expectations, the specific situational political context dependent on external events, resources, etc. 1. Deep level of structure of the political image, connected with the unconscious beginning and consequently mainly not realised, differs that on it the phenomena connected with deep components of political values prove, installations, expectations. Their influence can be realised only частично2. According to the given concept, between superficial and deep the elements which are in constant movement, flowing of one condition (realised) in another (not realised) and changing the качество4 are present perception levels (in "diffuzionnoj" to a zone). Stability of these elements and their property to remain in one of spheres also depends on many factors (for example, from kognitivnoj structures of the person perceiving).

Fifthly, in structure of a political image allocate rational and unconscious components (perception levels). Rational components of an image represent, reflected in consciousness perceiving and realised by them, characteristics of political object. That is perceiving possesses ability to describe, that in the given politician it is pleasant to it or it is not pleasant and to explain the reason of its appeal. To unconscious level of perception prevalence practically not realised emotions, instead of kognitivnyh mechanisms is characteristic. Perceiving not always can explain the relation to the leader, at attempts to prove the answer it not always represents an authentic explanation, it is influenced already by a rationalisation phenomenon.

In any political image there are not realised layers. Unconscious characteristics can be connected with specific features of the subject of perception, with the mass stereotypes generated by mass-media, with the general deep cultural representations («archetypes collective unconscious» on the Ship's boy). And if, according to E.B.Shestopal, in the first case one specific features extinguish other specific features, at changeable enough second level mass stereotypes make appreciable impact on dynamics of images in connection with actions of the politician, its opponents and the power. The third layer, in turn, differs steady enough structures unconscious, put in pawn during primary socialisation and is closely connected with the fundamental

I.Vladykina, A.Grishko, A.Kachanov, E.Kikteva, E.Lobza, P.Malinovky, L. O.Popova, L.A.Presnyakov, etc. consider a wide spectrum of a problematics of a phenomenon of political perception. Long time is engaged in the analysis of the rational and irrational aspects, political images concerning the maintenance in consciousness of citizens. According to results of its researches citizens are capable to "read" precisely enough an image of the politician, despite lacking the accurate and full rationalised information at a stage of formation of an image. Their measuring tool including both realised and not realised mechanisms of perception, allows to carry out to voters emotionally comprehensible выбор4.

Works were the most significant for the given dissertational research

T.N.Pishchevoj, N.T.Shelekasovoj, S.V.Nesterovoj, devoted to the rationalised and not realised features of images of political leaders (in particular candidates) and considered structure of an image from a position of the complex approach. For example, N.T.Shelekasova considering an image of the politician defines some kind of pertseptivnuju a matrix formed as a result of imposing of three basic components of personal structure of an image (kognitivnyj, emotional, behavioural) on two measurements (rational, unconscious), on three estimated parametres (appeal, force, activity).

Grishin investigating specificity of social trust in mentality of Russians comes to conclusion that the requirements of Russians shown to politicians, are not display of an archetype of slavish consciousness. They are determined by concrete characteristics of subjective representations of Russians about the country as a whole, that is the personal experience which does not have any irrational bases. That is, in this case the unconscious component is excluded from sphere of formation of political representations. It is interesting, that, according to the majority of modern models political
