3.2.3. An estimation of quantity of mercury in a profile of soils of the Voronezh reserve.

Available data about density of soils of the Usmansky milletgrass, a total area of each of considered in work biotsenozov on territories of reserve and the results of concentration of mercury received in the present research allow to spend an estimation of quantity of metal in different types of soils and in various biotsenozah.
For each type of the soils considered by us the various density [71] is characteristic. The highest density is observed in dernovo-wood, light grey wood and grey forest soils eljuvialnyh landscapes,

Averaging 1.36/see in density are characterised

Inundated forest soils - 1.25 of bogs/see of peat soils are made by 1.07/sm3
The most widespread in territory of the Voronezh reserve pine forests occupy 10 027.7 hectares [82]. Broad-leaved forests with prevalence of an oak (oak forests) occupy the smaller space - 9 008.2 hectares. Aspen forests - 5 989.5 hectares, alder thickets - 1 607.7 hectares. The minimum area bogs occupy of 665 hectares.
Definition the mercury content on hectare was spent for depth of 0-20 sm which the highest concentration of mercury in all soils considered by us and for depth of 20-50 sm are observed, differing by smaller concentration of metal for reserve soils.
Among soils eljuvialnyh landscapes the greatest quantity of mercury on one hectare in the top 20 sm of a profile is presumably established in dernovo-wood soils of pine forests - 150.14 g/hectares (fig. 21). The smaller content of metal is defined in light grey and grey forest soils of oak forests - 113.70/hectares are characterised by a metal Minimum quantity grey wood and light grey forest soils of aspen forests - 87.58/hectares In inundated forest soils superakvalnyh landscapes in the top part of a profile the estimated content of mercury above - 124.25/hectares the Most sated with mercury are the peat soils dated for eljuvialno-accumulative landscapes, concentration of metal in which, by estimations makes 200.15/hectares
On depth of 20-50 sm distribution of mercury to biocoenosis hectare looks differently. Among soils eljuvialnyh landscapes the minimum concentration are defined for soils of pine forests - 7.07/hectares Bolshee the metal content are observed in soils of oak forests and aspen forests - 11.97 g/hectares and 13.06 g/hectares, accordingly. In gley horizons of peat soils the mercury content slightly above, than in soils under aspen forests also makes 14.22/hectares the Greatest concentration of metal are observed in inundated forest soils of alder thickets - 49.22/hectares
Concentration of metal on hectare in the top 20 sm of soil of each of katen differs slightly (fig. 22). The least content of metal is defined in Usmansky and Krasnolesnensky katenah - 123.60 g/hectares and 120.55 g/hectares accordingly. Further the increase in the content of metal goes on a number: Ramonsky (142.25 g/hectares)> Bolsheprivalovsky (143.52 g/hectares)> Borsky (146.1 g/hectares).
For depth of 20-50 sm the maximum concentration are calculated for soils Krasnolesnensky kateny - 28.88/hectares Smaller concentration are defined in soils Bolsheprivalovsky kateny - 20.43/hectares In soils Usmansky and Borsky katen concentration are approximately equal and make 13.42 g/hectares and 15.10 g/hectares, accordingly. On depth of 20-50 sm are characterised by the minimum concentration of soil of the lowest Ramonsky kateny - 9.46/hectares
Proceeding from the area biotsenozov in territory of the Voronezh reserve the estimation of the content of mercury in soils of each of them has been made.
The mercury content on depth of 0-20 sm in soils of all investigated biotsenozov increases proportionally the areas occupied with them (tab. 25).

Concentration of mercury in soils of all territo
rii reserve.

In spite of the fact that soils of bogs differ the highest concentration of mercury, the metal content in the top horizons for all territory of reserve in them appear minimum - 133.10 kg.

Fig. 22. Estimated concentration of mercury (g/hectares) in soils of different landshaftno-geographical groups of the Voronezh reserve.

Bolshee the quantity of metal is established for all inundated forest soils of alder thickets and makes 200.42 kg. Further the increase in concentration of mercury increases on a number - aspen forests (524.56 kg) - oak forests (1033.33 kg) - pine forests (1505.60 kg). Proceeding from calculations, the mercury content in soils of all biotsenozov the Voronezh reserve on depth of 0-50 sm is estimated as 3743.42 kg.
